Powertrain
A lift truck has to be really tough to last for many hours of heavy operation within extreme settings. The rugged, reliable Yale powertrain offers excellent durability through its computer managed transmission and engine, extremely robust shafts and gears and state of the art clutch pack. The transmission, engine, steer axle, and drive axle are all isolated so as to reduce noise and vibration in the compartment of the operator.

Electrical
The electrical system of the lift truck is responsible for connecting the major nerve centers of the truck. Thus, the electrical system in the lift truck must be durable and reliable for the most demanding dry/wet and cold/hot operations. There is much sophistication required in order to control truck functionality.

Delivering dependable electronics are a well-known hallmark of all Yale trucks. The Yale CANbus electrical system uses digital technology and reduces electrical connections and lessens wiring as well. This results in improved dependability and remarkable serviceability.

Hydraulics
The hydraulics are the forklift's "muscles". They give the necessary force needed to lift heavy loads during the entirety of a long shift. All Yale trucks feature industrial grade hydraulic components. Several of these components comprise: leak resistant O-ring face seal fittings, heavy-duty hydraulic valves, fine micron filters and long lasting tilt and hoist cylinders. The control valve has been strategically placed so as to prolong part life by lessening exposure to heat sources.
